This is a USA-made, Joe Murray-designed VooDoo Bokor, 14” frame with a Rock Shox Judy XC. Construction is Easton Elite 7005 aluminum. Frame is size small for 26” wheels with 135/100 OLD dropout spacing and Canti/V-brake posts. 1-1/8” headset.
This is a great frame from an amazing independent builder, designed by a legendary Hall of Fame racer and designer. From the era when VooDoo was still making frames in their California factory. Ready to build as you wish.
Frame condition is good. No cracks, but there are scrapes, scratches and chips in the paint. Derailleur hanger is straight. Derailleur threads and bottle boss threads are all good. Chain suck witness marks and a slight gouge on drive side chain stay. There is a very slight dent on the right side of the top tube, just below the forward cable stops. See photos.
Frameset comes as shown with stem, seat post collar, Strong seat post, square taper bottom bracket, FSA headset and Rock Shox Judy XC. Bb has slight play but useable. Headset would benefit from a repack. The Judy XC works well. Adjusters all work and has no leaks. Service history is unknown.
NOTE: Frame is listed as a 1997 model based upon the serial number and original component group manufacturing dates. We believe these were sold as both 1997 and 1998 models.
